It has taken 25 years with Shan Shan to get here....a very special time in her life and so glad to be a part of it! Sheng....."has followed in the footsteps of China's millennial history and the chinese tradition of caution toward the outside world, including the most rescent evolution that has been characterized b;y dynamism and osmosis."
Project began in her participation in the 53rd Venice Biennale with her glass installation project, Open Wall, now in Shanghai World Exo 2010. The sponsorship includes a red, or red/yellow, or yellow or gold or clear glass “brick” of the your choice. These bricks have a mother of pearl iridescence effect.
Each brick size: 36 x 18 x 7 cm (14 x 7 x 3 inch) which weights 12KG. (24 LB) will include a unique designed stainless steel display stand. You as a Sponsors will receive a DVD of a multi-media film on the project, production in collaboration with a leading Italian contemporary composer/concert master Romeo Scaccia and his team as well as a Venice based film crew. The footages in the film describes how the Open Wall was built. Joseph has a 20 year Patron of Shan Shan and flew in specifically to celebrate this moment with us. Thanks you with all are hearts!
