"Sylvie Trichereau-calmly observes, notes, repairs, and seals the cracks in the vessels of her past.  With her brushes, very slowly she uses her colors, to dress and balance the scars of her ships, as would an engineer in charge who inspect his vessel and thereby protects it from all possibility of shipwreck.  Let us wish for her that one day her boat thusly repaired, may again receive her christening, and make, in all calmness, a long journey , drifting with the tides".   translation by Vincent Schafmeister
